ENGLISH FOR KIDS   (FROM 6-12 YEARS OLD)

Ngày: 13-04-2015

The English course for teens is called ‘Junior-Exploration’ and it has been drafted and adjusted by language experts working from our HQ offices in Hanoi. We aim to ensure that our students progress from the basic to lower-intermediary level of English language learning and that they can speak in confident and natural manner. These courses are designed to ensure that the students start to reflect upon the progress they are making with learning the subject, whilst also ensuring that they correct any pronunciation errors with very basic vocabulary and grammar. These courses build upon the work that is covered in the ‘English for very young-learners stage’ and should result in students moving up through the ‘Starters, Movers and Flyers’ levels of ESL tuition and progression.

Outstanding features of the course:

۞ Our courses provide the opportunity for students to learn English with International teachers in an environment that places emphasis on the need to provide stimulating activities and encourages our teachers to display their wider knowledge of the topic and teaching methodology.

۞ Our courses are set and delivered to meet the level descriptors of the ‘Starters, Movers and Flyers’’ level of the Cambridge young learners system, thus enabling parents and the relevant authorities to measure any academic improvement as and when it occurs – or even if it occurs at all.

۞ We aim to ensure that our students develop good manners, life skills and the ability to think in a critical manner whilst also ensuring that they develop knowledge of local case studies and examples that enable them to illustrate their thoughts and ideas in a sufficient manner.

۞ We limit class sizes at this level to no more than 8-12 children per group in order to ensure that the ‘Teens’ are making the progress that is needed at this stage.

۞ We pay more attention to monitoring classroom behaviour and effort rates at this level and are more willing to involve parents in the process of ensuring that their child knows that they must learn through methods that DO NOT rely solely upon enjoyable and entertaining activities. Our teachers and assistants should ensure that parents receive regular feedback on their child’s progress, either by providing comments and test results in the form of reports / course diaries or by e-mail upon request.
